Product Release Notification 23_005: Braid cutting machine BC14

Cable assembly has always been a challenging topic in the industrial market that should not be underestimated. Especially the copper braid of shielded cables often poses challenges for assemblers and users, as it has to be processed manually for further use. ESCHA therefore uses its many years of experience in the processing of a wide range of cable qualities in combination with the production of industrial circular connectors and expands its portfolio with the in-house developed braid cutting machine BC14. Due to a patented cutting concept, which includes two oscillating blade discs with internal cutting edges, a clean, safe and accurate cutting of the shield braid is possible in a semi-automated way, without damaging the underlying cable structure. Handling is therefore simple, repeatable and, above all, injury-proof. The braid cutting machine BC14 guarantees a length-defined cutting of the braid for braid single wires up to 0.2mm thickness and a diameter over braid of 14mm.
