Product change notice 25_004: Field-wireable M12 connectors | Contour and material modification of the pressure screw

The design of the item will be modified to meet the requirements for lead-free production and to ensure long-term availability.

In future, the affected area will be made of die-cast zinc, in line with the other housing parts of the connector.

A change in the geometry of the pressure screw is technically necessary to ensure that the material and manufacturing requirements are met. The changeover will result in a consistent material concept and a harmonized appearance.

The guaranteed electrical and mechanical properties will remain at least equivalent.

The contour change also has no influence on the overall dimensions of the respective connector.

The changes will be implemented starting in early September 2025.

Mixed deliveries may occur as the item numbers remain the same so stock and changed products may be included in the same shipment.
