Due to the final expiry of RoHS exemption 6c on 30 June 2027, ESCHA will gradually convert affected products and item variants to lead-free materials. The aim of this measure is to ensure the long-term availability of products in permanent compliance with Directive 2011/65/EU.

The M8 portfolio with 8 poles has been extended by shielded variants. The extension consists of overmoulded cordsets (single-ended and double-ended) and receptacles for back wall mounting.
